About Gabriel
Who I am and what I like to build.
My story
Hello, I am Gabriel. I am a creative developer and designer based in Mississauga, Ontario. I love fixing and upgrading computers, modeling in 3D (and sometimes printing my models on my 3D printer), building games, creating things out of wood, and climbing rocks. I started on this journey with woodworking at age 3, then at age 4 I started karate, at age 5 I began climbing, at age 6 I picked up programming on MicroBit and Arduino, at age 7 I began 3D modeling, and at age 8 I started programming ESP microcontrollers and making games.
At age 9 I started repairing computers and optimizing them to run better on older hardware, and today I have multiple old computers doing things for me.
I do not know where this journey will take me. However, I would love to design a few games while relaxing on furniture I made myself, and when I get stuck, I climb a little to let the brain think.
What I work with
- Computers: repairing, upgrading and building desktop PCs and laptops, and tuning older hardware so it runs faster.
- 3D: Blender for modelling, lighting, animation and rendering, and a 3D printer.
- Games: the Godot engine with GDScript, plus a little C#.
- Workshop: hand tools, Japanese joinery, a track saw and finishing.
- Electronics and code: micro:bit, Arduino, ESP microcontrollers and MicroPython.
Work with me
I take on computer repairs and upgrades and 3D modelling projects. If you have an idea, a question about one of my projects or feedback on my games, send me a message.
